I am so sorry for what you are feeling. I can totally understand and feel the same exact way as you do. I have not been able to put down like you have. I too had my beautiful daughter Naomi Sohpia. She was born to God on October 15, 2009. I was 34 weeks along. She weighed 3lbs and was 14 inches long. I just went back to work on Jan 4. But I don't have my baby to worry or care for. And everyone just acts like nothing happend. I have been very angry yet soooo sad. My emotions are a roller coaster. So I can totally relate to what you are saying. If you ever want to email me just to say what you need to say please do so. I am registered with the t18 support website (that is how I found your site). I find it hard to write what I feel. I am hoping you will help me. thank you and my prayers are with you.

Just wanted to drop a note after seeing your blog. I had a Trisomy 18 baby. I had a c-section scheduled for April 3rd (due to previous children and c-sections). At work on March 25th (my birthday) my water broke! I was in complete shock, but Colten was born that evening, We also chose comfort measures only. We were discharge early form the hospital on the 27th discharged home with hospice sevices in place. He lived with us for 8 days, We held him and loved him his entire life. He passed away on April 2nd, 1 day before the c-scetion was originally scheduled. One thing I wanted to tell you is that he ate and was able to suck from a bottle, not too much, only about 1 oz at a time, but freqeuently. Feel free to e-mail me I would love to tell you more abaout my experience and share pictures with you. My thoughts and prayers are with you

Reading the "one woman's journey" was really enlightening. Everyone goes through mountains, valleys, grief...maybe in different ways, at different times. But....we are never alone even though we definitely feel that way and even want to be left alone to retreat to our own thoughts sometimes. It's wonderful you and Ryan have each other. There are many, many friends & family just waiting "in the wings" to do what they can. Let them help whenever you can. Once in a while, you just need an ear, a hand, a hug from someone else. Don't be afraid not to be brave all the time. It's amazing that God is always available but reach out & someone will be there "with skin on".

We hope and pray that you are able to feel, and be supported by, the love of family and friends. The pictures are beautiful! Krissy, you are lovely (ok, you too, Ryan).
